NOTE: This is a part-time (10 to 15 hours a week), unpaid position to start, with the opportunity to become a regular contributor.

We're building great things at Omeleto, and it's incredibly rewarding to discover and champion the next generation of great filmmakers to reach their dreams. We don't just find and showcase the world's best short films, we also host online events that run for a week, and hope to put together projects that are much too ambitious for a team our size. In short, we're disrupting Hollywood with tech and directly connecting great storytellers with an audience of millions. Every serious candidate should have great taste in films, but understand that half the time, everyone's taste is wrong. Our ideal candidate MUST be self-motivated and proactive at getting things done. We know the daily grind can be brutal, soul-sucking, self-esteem-lowering affairs. But if you're the type of masochist who likes watching short films in your underwear, furiously emailing filmmakers while ignoring hygiene, all for the thrill of having a viewer glance at an Oscar-winning short you nabbed, right before clicking through to a cute puppy video on YouTube... well, if that sounds like your dream job, then you're our kind of masochist. If you're wondering what it's like working for Omeleto, it's arguably the best job in the world, and not just because you get to watch films all day. We use a data-driven approach to help filmmakers succeed online. Think of what we do as Moneyball for movies on social media. You'll join a family of hard-working, creative and intelligent people who take pride in their work. Our team has a varied background in literature, film and engineering, but we're all passionate about promoting the next generation of talented filmmakers. If this sounds like your dream job, please come do it with us. Send an email to contact ( at ) omeleto dot com with: 1. In the body of the email (not attachment) tell us the number of subscribers our YouTube channel has. 2. A cover letter explaining why you're the once-in-a-generation talent that we've been missing. 3. A resume that shows your problem-solving genius and ability to take us to the next level. 4. Your three favorite short films that aren't on Omeleto and why we should showcase them. NOTE: This is a part-time (10 to 15 hours a week), unpaid position to start, with the opportunity to become a regular contributor. You'll help us source short films from award-winning festivals. We're looking forward to potentially bringing you into our team to serve filmmakers and help them spread great stories that change lives!
