Don’t Call It a Comeback by Ramin Serry

A ladies' man dies, then tries to convince an angel to send him back for a one-night stand.

Andrew is a ladies’ man, living in Manhattan with a bevy of beautiful dates at his disposal.

He’s just about to “seal the deal” with one of his dates when he unexpectedly… dies.

But the real adventure begins when he arrives in the afterlife, where he’s confronted with a new fashion look — and a choice that will change his outlook on life.

Filmmaker Ramin Serry made his short as a “mini-sequel” to his feature “Loveless,” which also features Andrew and his romantic misadventures.

Brisk, fast-paced and charming, this short romantic-comedy offers a clever take on life after death, establishing its metaphysical laws with a deft, comic touch.

And despite the humorous twist at the end, there’s still a heartwarming message at the heart of the film: do something great with your life… or else wind up in a track suit.
