Vows by Tal Zagreba

A man goes home to tell his wife he wants a divorce, then walks into a surprise party for him. He’s shocked at 3:18… then confesses at 6:59…

Amos is unhappily married and having an affair with younger woman. His wife Orit is blissfully unaware.

One night, Amos musters up the courage to ask for a divorce. When he comes home, Orit surprises him by throwing a big party to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. He’s shocked by the turn of events, and runs to the bathroom to compose himself. His loving son and daughter come to check up on him, before Orit and him finally have a brief moment alone together.

His silence reveals his guilt-ridden intention.

Orit learns the truth. But before she can take it in, she is rushed back to the ceremony and forced to wear a smile to hide the pain. Meanwhile, onstage, Amos renews his wedding vows, as Orit is left to deal with a personal crisis in a public place.

Based on a true story.
