Latvian filmmaker Gints Zilbalodis tells the story of a relationship between a thief and an orphan.

In the beginning, a blond thief follows a dark-haired man during a heist. When the cops arrive, the dark-haired man abandons his partner, and the blond thief goes to prison. He later escapes.

Meanwhile, a boy decides to run away from the orphanage. He gets into trouble by stealing a wallet on the bus.

As the blond man walks down the street, he sees the boy get pushed to the ground and mistakenly thinks the boy being attacked. So he jumps into action and saves him. When he hears the cops approaching, he flees the scene.

That’s when the boy decides to start following him.
